We are pleased to announce that statistics tutoring for doctoral capstone students will resume August 1, 2017, through collaboration with the Center for Research Quality (CRQ) and the Academic Skills Center (ASC). Students who would like tutoring support in the area of quantitative capstone data can schedule an appointment with Dr. Zin Htway, Instructional Support Specialist. One-on-One tutoring appointments with Dr. Htway are 60 minute sessions and students are able to schedule up to one appointment per week. 

Please note our 24 hour schedule with appointments starting at 12am EST.   All appointments are in Eastern Time Zone.


Weekend Statistics Drop-In Tutoring Service!

The Academic Skills Center Tutoring Services program is offering hour long group drop-in sessions for course-related statistics help hosted by Dr. Sarah Inkpen, Instructional Support Specialist.  Sessions are scheduled for Saturday mornings at 10am and Sunday afternoons at 2pm eastern standard time. email for more information on how to join the next scheduled session!

Math Tutoring is now available!  For students needing support in college math courses, choose the math schedule to make an appointment with Nancy Brown, our math tutor. Students can also receive email support in math by emailing In addition, the Academic Skills Center website has a myriad of tutorials related to math concepts and topics to assist you in your studies.

New Service - NVivo software tutoring. Working with qualitative data? ASC tutoring now offers NVivo support.  To book an appointment with Jessica, our NVivo tutor, go to the NVivo schedule or for questions regarding NVivo support, email Jessica at

ASC Tutoring is a service available to provide Walden students with skill-level support. Tutors can guide you in understanding pertinent academic topics and concepts to help you complete your course work and assignments independently. Our tutors can also assist by directing you toward helpful academic resources in the Walden Academic Skills Center website. Please note: Our tutors cannot check your homework assignments for errors, nor can they edit your assignments before you submit them for grading. "Fixing" or "correcting" homework is not their role. Instead, tutors in the ASC help you with learning the concepts to build on your skill level for academic success.  If you have any questions, please contact us at


New Waitlist Feature!

Can't get an appointment for a specific date, time or tutor? WCONLINE has a waitlist feature! Students can join the waitlist by clicking on the clock icon above the date on the tutoring schedule that they would like to schedule an appointment. As soon as a time slot opens up, everyone on the waiting list will be notified by email. Remember to act quickly because the time slot will be available to the first person who books the appointment.   



Our tutoring team is available to meet individually with Walden students who have questions about their coursework and doctoral studies on topics related to Math, Accounting/Finance, General Statistics, Biostatistics, SPSS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, NVivo software, and Quantitative Doctoral Capstone Data.

Please note that Accounting/Finance tutoring only offers support for students in the B.S. Accounting; M.S. Accounting; B.S. Business Administration; M.S. Accounting; Graduate Certificate (Managerial Accounting); MBA/DBA Programs; Healthcare Finance (MHA program); and PhD students in the MGMT8045 course with questions related to accounting/finance topics . Specialized accounting courses in other programs should refer back to their faculty with questions.
